Updated: Nov 21, 2021

This is a large tree, the latex it produces is used to cleanse the body of parasites and is considered a powerful plant teacher. The ojé tree spirit is supposed to embody a large, fat, elegant white man who wears a hat and uses a walking stick. When called, he may instruct the singer how to cure an illness. The icaro del la doctor ojé is powerful against evil shamans. When this melody is whistled it creates a fog that will surround the witch so he cannot see and is unable to cause harm. 2
